Cartas desde la isla sin puentes: correspondencia de Ángela Figuera Aymerich a Jacques Comincioli

Abstract

Este artículo presenta y transcribe una selección del epistolario (inédito hasta el momento) de Ángela Figuera Aymerich a Jacques Comincioli. Las cuatro cartas, fechadas entre 1972 y 1982, se centran en el traslado al francés del poemario Belleza cruel (1958) por el traductor y crítico suizo. Su valor descansa en el rol de exégeta y traductora que la bilbaína adopta en ellas. La breve presentación aspira a destacar estos aspectos y vincularlos con el trabajo crítico en torno a Figuera Aymerich.

This article presents and transcribes a selection of the (so far unpublished) correspondence of Angela Figuera Aymerich to Jacques Comincioli. The four letters, dated between 1972 and 1982, focus on the translation into French of the collection of poems Belleza cruel (1958) carried out by the Swiss translator and critic. Their value lies in the role of exegete and translator that the Bilbao-born writer adopts in them. This brief presentation aims to highlight these aspects and link them to the critical work on Figuera Aymerich.
