Recursos genéticos animales brasileños y sus sistemas tradicionales de explotación

Abstract

Brazil is a young country where studies on conservation of animal and vegetable genetic resources have been carried out during the last twenty years. Now its principal purpose is the developpment and intensification of investigations on wild animals for the best use of these resources in the future. This study is a review of the brazilian animal genetic resources and their productive systems.

Brasil es un país joven que viene estudiando los recursos genéticos animales y vegetales hace aproximadamente 20 años, y ahora empieza a desarrollar e intensificar las investigaciones en animales salvajes para, en el futuro próximo, llevar a cabo una mejor explotación. Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo proporcionar una revisión bibliográfica sobre los recursos genéticos animales existentes en el territorio brasileño, caracterizando sus sistemas tradicionales de explotación.
