Tipos hemoglobínicos en équidos

Abstract

Horses of the english, the spanish•and the arabian thoroitg bred, had been studied conceming the haernoglobinic polyrnorphism. The geneic and genotype frecuencyes are expressed, having found significant differences between the english and the spanishbreed. All the aniinals of the arabian breed had identical phenotype. The populations viere in the Hardy-Weinberg genetic equilibrium. The regulation mode! suggested by M. Braend ca be adjusted to the results obtained.

Se han estudiado caballos pertenecientes a las razas pura sangre inglesa, española y árabe, en cuanto a su polimorfismo hemoglobínico. Se expresan las frecuencias génicas y genotípicas habiéndose encontrado diferencias significativas entre las razas inglesa y española. Todos los animales de la raza árabe presentan idéntico fenotipo. Las poblaciones se hallan en equilibrio genético de-Hardy-Weinberg. El modelo de regulación propuesto por M. Braend (1967) puede ajustarse a los resultados obtenidos.
