Biometría del ala en Drosophila melanogaster

Abstract

A total of 15 mensurations have been carried out, in both males and females, in two laboratory populations of Drosophila melanogaster, maintaining one of them at 252 C and another one, coming from the aforementioned, at 309 C, for one generation. Principal component analyses in order to determine the mensurations that denote size and those that characterize the shape of the wings have been made. The type of multivariate analysis used clearly distinguisch between the different groups of individuals established.

En dos poblaciones de laboratorio de Drosophila melanogaster, una de ellas mantenida a 252 C y otra, procedente de la anterior linea, sometida a 302 C (durante una generación), se han efectuado ciertas medidas del ala (un total de 15), tanto en machos como en hembras. Se ha utilizado el análisis de componentes principales (ACP) para determinar las medidas que denotas tamaño y las que caracterizan la forma del ala. El tipo de aálisis multivariante utilizado distingue muy acertadamente entre los diferentes grupos de individuos establecidos.
