Estudio citogenético de cabras hermafroditas de la raza malagueña

Abstract

We have studied cytogenetically 18 intersex goats, 15 of them showed a female genetic sex, and the rest a celular chimaerism XX/XY, with a XX predominance. At the same time we have detected a structural chromosomal alteration in one of the studied animals, posibly the 10/12 robertsonian translocation.

Se han estudiado citogénéticamente 18 cabras hermafroditas, de las que 15 presentan sexo genético de hembra (XX); y las tres restantes, un quimerismo celular XX/XY con un predominio de las células XX, pero son también hembras genéticas. Al mismo tiempo se ha detectado una alteración estructural en uno de los animales, posiblemente la translocación de tipo robertsoniano 10/12.
