El primer gobierno constitucional de Cádiz en las Nuevas Poblaciones de Sierra Morena y Andalucía a través de sus documentos (1812-1814)

Abstract

En este trabajo, sus autores ofrecen varios documentos de interés relativos a las Nuevas Poblaciones de Sierra Morena y Andalucía fechados entre 1812 y 1814. Las numerosas pérdidas de documentos en los archivos de las nuevas colonias han tenido como consecuencia que hoy este período sea, en buena medida, desconocido. Sin embargo, en esos dos años se produjeron significativos cambios en su sistema de gobierno y administración; los cuales repercutieron intensamente en los habitantes de esta provincia. Por ello, el valor de estos documentos es indudable, gracias a ellos es posible tener una idea más clara de esta etapa histórica.

In this paper, the authors offer a number of relevant documents to the New Settlements of Sierra Morena and Andalusia dated between 1812 and 1814. The massive losses of documents in the archives of the new colonies have meant that today this period is largely unknown. However, in these two years there were significant changes in its governance and management, which seriously affected the inhabitants of this province. Therefore, the value of these documents is clear; thanks to them it is possible to have a clearer picture of this historical stage.
