Situaciones Asociadas a los Números Negativos en Textos de Matemáticas Españoles de los Siglos XVIII y XIX

Abstract

Se presenta el avance de una investigación sobre la presencia de los números negativos en los textos de matemáticas publicados por autores españoles durante los siglos XVIII y XIX. El centro de atención ha estado en determinar el tipo de situaciones con las que se asociaba el número negativo.

This is an advance of an investigation about the presence of the negative numbers in the texts of mathematics published by Spanish authors during the 18th and 19th centuries. The centre of attention is to determine the type of situations which were associated to the negative number
