De hidalgos a élite liberal burguesa: La familia Soldevilla en la Córdoba de los siglos XIX y XX

Abstract

El presente trabajo trata de describir el proceso de ascenso y consolidación de la élite liberal en la provincia de Córdoba a través de una familia representativa: los Soldevilla. Para ello se estudia la acumulación de capital, su acceso a cargos burocráticos y políticos y las estrategias familiares para su definitivo establecimiento.

Through the analysis of a representative case, that of the family Soldevilla, this paper is aimed at the description of the rise and consolidation of the liberal elite in the province of Cordoba. With that purpose, the accumulation of capital, the access to bureaucratic and political jobs and the family strategies followed in order to get a definitive establishment are studied.
