dc.description.abstractLa consulta de nueva documentación nos permite descubrir el evidente origen judío de Juan Rufo. El autor de La Austríada se revela como descendiente de hebreos por todos los costados de su ascendencia. Además, muchos de sus parientes cercanos tuvieron graves problemas con la Inquisición o sufrieron rechazo por su condición de conversos. Este es el nuevo escenario desde el que hay que estudiar su obra a partir de ahora.es_ES
dc.description.abstractNew documental findings allow us to discover Juan Rufo’s true Jew origin. The autor of La Austríada is revealed as a descendant from Jews from all the branches of his genealogy tree. In addition, many of their relatives had problems with the Inquisition or suffer rejection due to their converso status. This is the new scenario from which we must start the study of his work since now on.es_ES
