| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this research is to find out whether Primary Education teachers who are part of bilingual itineraries know and use the cooperative learning (CL) methodology in their classes, including planning and evaluation in this analysis. This study includes the design of an ex profeso instrument, the content and suitability of which were validated by means of the Delphi method. The study population consists of 21 primary school teachers working in bilingual itineraries in seven Andalusian schools, who teach different second language (L2) content subjects: Science, Music and Mathematics, among others. The results obtained were analysed by using SPSS software (v. 22) and indicate that participants claim to know the basic principles of CL. Furthermore, these teachers are aware of and recognise many of the difficulties involved in its implementation in the bilingual classroom (e.g., lack of time, structure of the school timetable, or differences in L2 level among students in the same group), while they also identify the advantages of CL (e.g., increased motivation among students), and implement assessment models in line with CL. | es_ES |
