Factores que influyen en la duración de la gestación de la coneja

Abstract

This is a statistical stydy of the factors which contribute to the length of the gestation of the rabbit, based on a hierarchical scheme and it"s deeped to a level of pedigree on those variates which declared a significant effect according to the breed; we"ve used as technique of study the variance analysis and coefficient of correlation. We have collected the data of a complet year starting with 152 parents (36 males and 116 females) and 212 broods, 121 of the New Zealand White breed and 91 of the California breed. There are significant differences when we consider the covering season of the gestation duration within the breeds of the strains A, A and L; the effect of the parents on the length of the gestation, within the breeds of strains M; the number of the alive borned with the gestation days of the strains A, C and L; the number of fetus in relation to the gestation days of the strains A, C and L.

El análisis estadístico, basado en un esquema jerárquico que profundiza hasta la estirpe en aquellas variables que manifestaron efecto significativo a nivel de raza, aplica el análisis de varianza y de la correlación a los datos de un año completo, a partir de 152 progenitores (36 machos y 116 hembras) y 212 camadas: 121 de la raza neozelandesa blanca y 91 de la de California. Hay diferencias significativas: en la influencia de la estación de cubrición sobre la duración de la gestación, dentro de razas, en las estirpes A, B y L; en el efecto de los padres, sobre la duración de la gestación, dentro de razas, en la estirpe M; en la relación entre el número de nacidos vivos y los días de gestación, en las estirpes A, C y L; y en el número de fetos en relación con los días de gestación, en las estirpes A, C y L.
