«¿Qué son los judíos?» Una respuesta a Shoah

Abstract

Este artículo trata de dar una respuesta a Shoah (1985), la monumental película que Claude Lanzmann rodó durante muchos años y que tiene como protagonistas a los supervivientes, a los testigos y a los verdugos del Holocausto. Veinticinco años después de su estreno en París, Shoah sigue planteando una serie de preguntas que condicionan nuestra responsabilidad sobre la existencia del judaísmo y el Estado de Israel.

This paper aims to provide an answer to Shoah (1985), the vast film that Claude Lanzmann registered for many years, and whose protagonists are the survivors, the witnesses, and the executioners of the Holocaust. After twenty five years from its premier at Paris, Shoah keeps on asking a series of questions which qualify our responsibility about the existence of Judaism and the State of Israel.
