Visions d’Anna de Marie-Claire Blais: un voyage au coeur de l’abjection

Abstract

En la novela Visions d’Anna ou le vertige, de la escritora quebequense Marie- Claire Blais, la noción de abyección es esencial y pone de manifiesto la hipocresía y la complejidad que caracterizan las relaciones entre los distintos personajes dentro de la sociedad y del universo familiar. Este estudio analiza la importancia que tiene este concepto en la caracterización de los personajes, y principalmente en la figura del desplazado. También examina cómo el concepto de abyección condiciona y subraya el tipo de relación que existe entre los padres y sus hijos.

In the novel Visions d’Anna ou le vertige, by Marie-Claire Blais, the concept of abjection is essential and it highlights the hypocrisy and the complexity that characterizes social and family relationships. This study analyzes the importance of this notion in the portrayal of the characters depicted by Blais, and particularly in the description of those figures that are displaced. It also examines how the concept of abjection conditions and emphasizes the kind of relationship that exists between parents and their offspring.
