La « Recopilación de las voces mas usuales para empezar á hablar en francés » (1781) de Pierre-Nicolas Chantreau

Abstract

Este artículo presenta un análisis pormenorizado de la nomenclatura o repertorio temático incluido en el Arte de hablar bien francés (1781) de Pierre-Nicolas Chantreau. El examen atiende a tres aspectos fundamentales: el lugar de la «Recopilación» dentro del conjunto de nomenclaturas que combinan el francés y el español, en particular, con el grupo de nomenclaturas destinadas a la enseñanza del francés a españoles; la deuda de Chantreau con respecto a Abel Boyer, autor de la nomenclatura que está en el origen de la «Recopilación» y, finalmente, el papel de la nomenclatura dentro de la gramática, su relación con otros componentes, en especial, con los que también debían servir para la adquisición del vocabulario.

This article shows a detailed analysis about the nomenclature or thematic digest included in El Arte de hablar bien francés (1781) of Pierre-Nicolas Chantreau. This exam highlights three key aspects: the importance of the «Recopilación» particularly between the group of Nomenclatures which combine French and Spanish, specially, with the ones which are addressed to the learning of French between Spanish speakers, the debt of Chantreau in relation with Abel Boyer, author of the nomenclature which is in the origin of the «Recopilación» and, finally, the role of the Nomenclature into the grammar, its relation with other components, specially with those which should be useful in the learning of vocabulary.
