| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | One of the main uses of ICTs in the young population is found in social networks, with YouTube being one of the most popular. Taking advantage of this success also among the university population decided to create an educational platform with a repository of educational videos in the field of social sciences. The material that comes to constitute the platform has two origins: videos selected by the teachers or videos produced by the students. This research aims to know what assessment is made by university students of social networks in learning and especially YouTube. The results show that the students value positively the use of YouTube in the master classes. However, this does not correspond to an individual use of this social network as an instrument of learning. The paper concludes with the need to make good educational use of social networks and to emphasize and support the role of students as producers of educational content. | es_ES |
