Ritual y Culto Divino Diario en la Sala Hipóstila del Templo de Amón-Ra en Karnak

Abstract

El Ritual de Culto Divino Diario era el ritual principal que se realizaba en el templo egipcio, diariamente, acompasado con el decurso solar, ofrendando a la deidad para que fuera benévola con el pueblo de Kmt. Diversos autores han trabajado el Ritual Diario a partir del Papiro 3055 BP, pero no se ha dado explicación al porqué este ritual no se representa con un programa iconográfico completo hasta el periodo de Seti I. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es la puesta en valor del Ritual Diario, demostrando cuándo y porqué se comienza a representar de forma completa o sustancialmente íntegro. La arqueología del ritual, el acercamiento semiótico a la liturgia diaria egipcia, es la metodología utilizada para desentrañar los orígenes de la continuidad, o no, del programa iconográfico del Ritual Diario en La Gran Sala Hipóstila del Templo de Amón-Ra en Karnak. La investigación se ha estructurado en cuatro bloques. El primer capítulo es un acercamiento al Templo de Amón-Ra en Karnak: consideraciones cronológicas y geográficas, la materialización del cosmos en la Sala Hipóstila, la cronología de las XVIII y XIX Dinastías y, la importancia del Clero de Amón en el periodo previo y posterior al Cisma de Amarna. El segundo capítulo estudia las generalidades del Ritual Diario, el esquema ritual y, las acciones rituales de Karnak, con mi propuesta de segmentación. El tercer capítulo es un acercamiento a las representaciones previas al periodo de Seti I, las producidas durante la Dinastía Ramésida y las posteriores, mostrando la discontinuidad hasta el periodo de Seti I y la posterior continuidad iconográfica. El cuarto capítulo es un catálogo de algunos objetos relacionados con el Ritual Diario, como la jarra nemset. Una amplia bibliografía y anexos como: cronología, planimetría, fotogrametría, estudio del ciclo solar, la primera publicación de los papiros relativos al ritual y unas fotogrametrías de los monumentos a estudiar. El estudio del Ritual Diario me permite afirmar que se observa un desuso del programa iconográfico hasta el comienzo del reinado de Seti I. Durante su reinado, Karnak es la representación más arcaica y, por consiguiente, la inicial, que se amplia y multiplica en los años de su reinado. La continuidad al periodo de Seti I queda probada viendo los ejemplos de los templos ptolemaicos. El Cisma de Amarna y la restauración, Seti I propone una exculpación total de los actos cometidos contra los dioses en el periodo de Akhenatón a través del Ritual Diario.

The Daily Divine Worship Ritual was the main ritual that was performed in the Egyptian temple, daily, in rhythm with the solar course, offering to the deity so that it would be benevolent with the people of Kmt. Various authors have worked on the Daily Ritual from Papyrus 3055 BP, but no explanation has been given as to why this ritual is not represented with a complete iconographic program until the period of Seti I. The main objective of this research is the enhancement of the Daily Ritual, demonstrating when and why it begins to be represented completely or substantially completely. The archeology of the ritual, the semiotic approach to the Egyptian daily liturgy, is the methodology used to unravel the origins of the continuity, or not, of the iconographic program of the Daily Ritual in the Great Hypostyle Hall of the Temple of Amun-Ra in Karnak. The research has been structured in four chapters. The first chapter is an approach to the Temple of Amun-Ra in Karnak: chronological and geographical considerations, the materialization of the cosmos in the Hypostyle Hall, the chronology of the XVIII and XIX Dynasties and the importance of the Clergy of Amun in the previous period and after the Amarna Schism. The second chapter studies the generalities of the Daily Ritual, the ritual scheme and the ritual actions of Karnak, with my proposal of segmentation. The third chapter is an approach to the representations prior to the period of Seti I, those produced during the Ramesid Dynasty and the Later ones, showing the discontinuity until the period of Seti I and the subsequent iconographic continuity. The fourth chapter is a catalog of some objects related to the Daily Ritual, such as the nemset jar. An extensive bibliography and annexes such as: chronology, planimetry, photogrammetry, study of the solar cycle, the first publication of the papyri related to the ritual and some photogrammetries of the monuments to be studied. The study of the Daily Ritual allows me to affirm that a disuse of the iconographic program is observed until the beginning of the reign of Seti I. During his reign, Karnak is the most archaic representation and, consequently, the initial one, which expands and multiplies in the years of his reign. The continuity to the period of Seti I is proven by looking at the examples of the Ptolemaic temples. The Amarna Schism and the restoration, Seti I proposes a total exculpation of the acts committed against the gods in the period of Akhenaten through the Daily Ritual.
