Integración del patrimonio natural y redes de infraestructura verde como mejora de los bienes públicos del olivar con orientación turístico-recreativa

Abstract

El paisaje del olivar tradicional viene sufriendo distintos riesgos agravados por la actual crisis del sector, su simplificación, abandono, o arranque, y sus efectos en la población local y en su valor natural hacen necesario potenciar y valorar una bandeja más amplia de recursos, en forma de bienes y servicios públicos, naturales y socioculturales, que estos olivares pueden ofrecer y que es necesario desarrollar e investigar. Para ello, las estrategias de infraestructura verde y conectividad ecológicas aplicadas en estos olivares, se conforman como unas herramientas clave en la recuperación y mejora de estos recursos, poniendo en valor los elementos del paisaje con una orientación, entre otras, turístico-recreativa. Para el estudio del alcance de estas estrategias en el olivar tradicional llevada a cabo en el municipio de Almedinilla (Córdoba), donde el olivar tradicional ocupa el grueso de su término, se realizó un análisis cartográfico, inventariando el patrimonio natural y sus elementos del paisaje agrario, así como las zonas potenciales para su ampliación. Como resultado de este, se obtuvieron cartografías que volcaron una alta potencialidad de mejora del paisaje agrario, y con ellas el diseño de una amplia y funcional red de conectividad ecológica, evidenciando una marcada capacidad de estos olivares como proveedores de todo un abanico de bienes y servicios públicos.

The traditional olive grove landscape have been suffering different risks. These risks has been aggravated due to the currently crisis in the sector, its simplification, abandonment or the uprooting and their effects on the local population and in their natural value, make it necessary to enhance and appreciate a wider range of resources such as public, natural and sociocultural services. The olive grove is able to offer all these resources however it is essential to investigate and to develop them. The green infrastructure strategies and the ecological connectivity applied to these olive groves are key factors for the recovery and improvement of these resources, valuing the landscape elements with an orientation, among others, tourist-recreational. To see the importance of these strategies in the traditional olive grove some studies have been carried out in the municipality of Almedinilla (Córdoba), where the traditional olive groves take up the bulk of the area. A cartographic analysis, inventorying its natural heritage and its agricultural landscape elements as well as considering potential zones for its extension have been carried out. As a result of this, cartographic were obtained and they have turned over a high potential to better the agrarian landscape, and with them the design if an ample and functional ecological connectivity network. This is evidence of a marked capacity of these olive groves as providers of a range of public assets and services.
