UniTV, canal de televisión de la Universidad de Huelva: hacia una TV universitaria de calidad

Abstract

Las universidades españolas han optado por incorporar el vídeo a los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje mediante la integración de contenidos en los portales corporativos de televisión, el uso de tecnologías informáticas y el uso de Internet; con ello pretenden dar un impulso a la docencia y a la inves¬tigación mediante la divulgación de los contenidos a través de los medios audiovisuales en red. Con la colaboración del Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio, a través de Red.es, la Universidad de Huelva cuenta con el canal de televisión universitario, UniTV, donde la formación, investigación, divulga¬ción y ciencia son los pilares que fundamentan la producción audiovisual, un portal que cuenta con televisión a la carta y emisión en directo. UniTV, el canal de televisión de la Universidad de Huelva, pretende mediante el uso de tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, a través de internet y de la tecnología streaming, alcanzar un acceso universal para divulgar sus activida¬des y conseguir que la educación, la investigación, los proyectos, ciclos de conferencias e información en general de la institución, lleguen a la comunidad universitaria y a la vez al resto del mundo.

Spanish universities have chosen to incorporate the video into the teaching and learning through the integration of content on television enterprise portals by using information technologies and Internet use, with this aim to boost teaching and research through the dissemination of content through the network media. With the collaboration of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, through Red.es, the University of Huelva has the university TV channel, UniTV, where training, research, release and science are the pillars that audiovisual production, a website featuring video on demand and live broadcast. UniTV, the TV channel of the University of Huelva, aims through the use of information technology and communication through the Internet and streaming technology, to achieve universal access to publicize its activities and ensure that education, research projects, conferences and general information of the institution, come to the university community while the rest of the world.
