I attempt to describe in this article the main elements of the Tagelied (morning song), that appear in the well known lyrical composition by Wolfram con Eschenbach. Th us I discuss the initial starting point, the special and temporal dimensions and how they are handled so as to form strong contrasts throughout the whole work.
