La approche globale en la didáctica de la comprensión lectora en Français Langue Étrangère (FLE)

Abstract

La compréhension écrite est l'une des compétences à maîtriser lors de l'acquisition d'une LE. Étant donné que l' approche globale joue un rôle déterminant dans la didactique de la lecture du FLE, on en analysera ici les traits les plus saillants, son évolution dans le temps ainsi que les critiques dont elle a été l'objet. Après un compte-rendu sur les applications didactiques issues de cette approche nous réfléchirons sur l'avenir de la recherche sur la compréhension lectrice en FLE tout en la comparant aussi avec la recherche anglophone.

Reading comprehension is one of the linguistic competences to be mastered in the acquisition of a foreign language. Since the approche globale plays an important role in the teaching of reading in FLE (as we already know), here we will analyse the most important features, its evaluation throughout time, and the criticism it has been subjected to. After a summary about the teaching applications from the approche globale, we will think about the future of the investigation in reading comprehension in FLE and we will establish a comparison with the English investigation in that area.
