La empinada pendiente de la creatividad: del miedo al gozo

Abstract

La vida humana alcanza su verdadero valor -la existencia- y su mayor deleite en el trabajo creativo El hombre, pese a ser un ente engendrador por naturaleza (llamado, por tanto, a existir) y tender al disfrute (como ser vivo) y a la felicidad (como ser humano), no crea. Al descubrir la desmedida fuerza de su mente, tiene miedo de sí mismo y se debate en un conflicto mental que resuelve inhibiendo la que es su tarea más genuina, causa y principio, además, del supremo goce. Sin duda, se aliena (y aniquila) al hacerlo. La autora de este artículo recrea primero los orígenes (ancestrales) de este miedo y propone después tres pasos -cognitivo, conductual y afectivo- para superarlo.

Human life gets its real value and greatest delight when involved in creative work. Man does not create in spite of being naturally creative and with a tendency to be happy and enjoy. When he discovers the amazing power of his mind, he/she is afraid of him/herself and gets into a mental conflict that he solves blocking his most genuine activity, that of creation, the reason and starting point ofthe highest pleasure. Without question, he/she alienates and obliterates himlherself in doing so. The writer of this paper analyzes the origins of this fear first and then proposes three steps to overcome it: cognitive, behavioural and affective.
