| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | In the higher education scenario, the importance of developing digital competence in teaching has been explored. The objective of this research was to know the perceptions of teachers regarding the incorporation of technologies in their teaching activities and to establish a link between digital skills and the dimensions that characterize teaching practice. The research is based on a descriptive non-experimental design, a comparative case study, which allowed the analysis of similarities and differences between the teachers of two universities located in Mexico and Cuba. 122 teachers between the ages of 25 and 62 participated. The results obtained suggest that there is a medium level in the development of digital competence in the context of teaching practice, as well as a correlation between the didactic, personal and value dimensions in both universities. The above indicates that teachers who have implemented teaching strategies using digital tools show a greater appreciation of the educational potential of technologies. It is concluded that it is necessary to strengthen the development of digital skills not only from the perspective of the use of hardware and software, but also from the attitude of change. | es_ES |
