Caracterización de funciones lineales inversas. Un estudio de casos basado en una experiencia de aprendizaje

Abstract

Este es un estudio exploratorio con enfoque metodológico, centrado en la caracterización de las funciones lineales inversas, como funciones biunívocas e invertibles. El objetivo propuesto consistió en identificar algún tipo de dificultad estructural en estudiantes de primer ingreso universitario al trabajar con propiedades de una función lineal inversa con estructura algebraica distinta a la estructura de funciones propuestas en los libros de texto asignados en la carrera. Los resultados de esta experiencia condujeron a la generalización de patrones algebraicos y geométricos, que permitieron establecer características subyacentes en las funciones lineales inversas. A su vez conllevó a diseñar una teoría metodológica basada en el manejo didáctico de contenidos matemáticos.

This is an exploratory study with a methodological approach, focused on the characterization of inverse linear functions as biunivocal and invertible functions. The proposed objective consisted of identifying some type of structural difficulty in first-year undergraduate students when working with properties of an inverse linear function with an algebraic structure different from the structure of functions proposed in the textbooks assigned in the course. The results of this experience led to the generalization of algebraic and geometric patterns, which allowed establishing underlying characteristics of inverse linear functions. It also led to the design of a methodological theory based on the didactic management of mathematical contents.
