Estruturas X-que e atualáo metonímica: gramaticalizaláo de tanto que no Portugués

Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objetivo precipuo a identificacáo de algumas rotas de gramaticalizacáo de estruturas que envolvem a palavra tanto no portugués do Brasil á luz de urna subjacente categorizacáo cognitiva (Heine, Claudi & Hünnemeyer, 1991). Tais estruturas, muitas vetes geradas por processos metonímicos, aproximam elementos que sintaticamente eram distantes na cadeia sintática e passarn a constituir formalmente urna estrutura X-que. Em especial, este trabalho detém-se na identificacáo de rotas de urna mudanca gramatical, incluindo-se al o estudo das categorías elididas (os prejuizos categoriais) e os efeitos pragmáticos das estruturas emergentes dessas alteracóes (Lima-Hernandes 2006).

The aim of this work is the identification of some grammaticalization routes of structures with the word tanto (as much) in the Brazilian Portuguese, observing the cognitive categorization (Heine, Claudi & Hünnemeyer, 1991). These structures, sometimes created by metonimic process, link iteras from different syntactic chaira and they iniciate a new X-que structure. Especially, this work reveals the identification of routes of grammatical change, including the study of hiding categories (lack of categories) and the pragmatic effects of the structures borned from these changes (Lima-Hernandes 2006).
