Paisaje urbano y contaminación visual: a propósito del centro histórico y turístico de Córdoba (España)

Abstract

Este trabajo se centra en el problema de la contaminación visual de los centros históricos, que provoca un deterioro del paisaje urbano, el menoscabo de la calidad de vida urbana de los ciudadanos y no pocos impactos que afectan negativamente al turismo urbano y cultural como es el casco histórico de la ciudad de Córdoba (España), con diferentes declaraciones de Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Las vías públicas de este entorno muestran un escenario que representa la imagen nacional e internacional del paisaje urbano del urbanismo histórico cordobés. El punto de partida es, la conservación del patrimonio cultural, teniendo en cuenta tanto a la sociedad local, como a los visitantes. De la investigación realizada se observa un proceso evolutivo de cambio en la dinámica urbana y socioeconómica, que viene acompañada de no pocos impactos visuales negativos. Existe un problema real de contaminación visual cuyas consecuencias devalúan la imagen de la ciudad y contribuyen al desarraigo colectivo y a su interpretación confusa ante un espacio urbano distorsionado, que no permite una lectura estructurada y horizontal del paisaje. El análisis desarrollado es concluyente en la necesidad de abordar el problema paisajístico de forma integral, exigiendo el cumplimiento de la normativa vigente. En concreto, tiene como objetivo fundamental colaborar en la medida de lo posible a mejorar la percepción visual del casco histórico de la ciudad cordobesa, al tiempo que mantener su imaginario turístico de excelencia.

This study is structured around a problem of visual pollution, which is decisive in the deterioration of the landscape and the impairment of the quality of urban life of citizens. The scientific investigation of this problem is proposed in an urban and cultural tourism destination such as the historic center of Córdoba (Spain), with different World Heritage statements. The streets show settings that represents the national and international image of its historical urbanism. The starting point is the conservation of the cultural heritage, taking into account the local society and the visitors. From the research carried out, an evolutionary process of change in the urban and socioeconomic dynamics can be observed, which reaches importance with the negative activities performed by man. There is a real problem of visual pollution whose consequences devalue its image and contribute to the collective uprooting, its interpretation becomes confusing in front of a distorted urban space, which does not allow a structured and horizontal sights of the urban landscape. The analysis developed is conclusive in the need to approach the problema in a comprehensive manner and requires compliance with existing regulations. In conclusion, its main objective is to collaborate as much as possible to improve the visual perception of the historical centre of the city.
