Decálogo de técnicas de traducción jurídica

Abstract

El lenguaje jurídico presenta características fuertemente marcadas, impuestas por la conexión entre vida y derecho que el ser humano experimenta en la sociedad. Esta sinergia refleja una continua confluencia con el lenguaje común y el de otros sectores interdisciplinares, lo cual acrecienta la vastedad de su disciplina. Este artículo se presenta como un breve decálogo de técnicas de traducción jurídica para intentar colmar la ausencia de equivalencia exacta en el ordenamiento de llegada, pues se antoja difícil en este ámbito, porque si bien por una parte encontramos una gran sensación de traducibilidad al tener muchos manuales de consulta al alcance, por otra nos encontramos con conceptos que reflejan la base de una sociedad y que no siempre tienen una correspondencia directa en otras.

The legal language presents strongly marked characteristics, imposed by the connection between life and law that humans experience in society. This synergy reflects a continuous confluence with the common language and that of other interdisciplinary sectors, which increases its vastness. This article is presented as a brief decalogue of legal translation techniques in an attempt to fill in the absence of exact equivalence in source legal system, as it seems difficult in this field, because while on the one hand we find a great sense of translatability due to the existence of numerous reference manuals, on the other hand we find concepts that reflect the ground of a society and that are not always reflected in others.
