La traducción del Derecho Sucesorio: DE/FR/EN <> ES

Abstract

La traducción jurídica es una de las modalidades de traducción de mayor demanda social y cultural. Los intercambios, los flujos migratorios y las relaciones internacionales no hacen sino incrementar la necesidad y la tasa de traducciones jurídicas entre diversos pares lingüísticos. Lógicamente, la traducción entre las lenguas pioneras de la Unión Europea es la más demandada, y este es el caso del alemán, francés, inglés y español. Si a este hecho le sumamos la creciente migración poblacional a España de ciudadanos jubilados procedentes de diversos países europeos nos encontramos con que uno de los documentos más solicitados en el mercado profesional de la traducción jurídica es el testamento. Su idiosincrasia varía entre sistemas de derecho, lo cual complica la labor traductora de forma significativa. Mediante la presente investigación plantearemos los rasgos lingüísticos y estructurales de estos documentos sucesorios, de cara a facilitar su traducción y revisión entre diversos pares lingüísticos (alemán/francés/inglés<>español).

Legal translation is one of the most -socially and culturally-demanded translation tasks.The various exchanges, migrations, and international relations,increase the need and rate of legal translations developed within diverse linguistic pairs.Undoubtedly, the task of translating between pioneer European Union languages has the highest demand; and that is the case of German, French, English, and Spanish languages. Additionally, the increase of retired population migrationfrom European countries to Spain makes the last will and testament one of the translation tasks of upmost relevance.Thespecificity thereof varies according to the legal system issuing the document, and this fact significantly complicates the translation task. By means of the foregoing research we will show the linguistic and structural features of this kind of succession law instrument, so that we canprovide translators and proofreaders with the tools needed (German/French/English<>Spanish translations and reviews).
