Géneros textuales en materia de migración: la traducción a la lengua árabe desde el francés y el alemán

Abstract

El presente trabajo abordará el estudio de losgéneros textuales presentes en la documentación que toda persona migrante o desplazada ha de emplear en los servicios de extranjería, ya sea para resolver situaciones de residencia temporal o definitiva, o para solicitar la condición derefugiado o asilado. En una primera parte del trabajo analizaremos el género textualen su lengua original; una segunda parte nos llevará a determinar la información disponible enárabe de documentos administrativos y legales en países francoparlantes y germanoparlantes para dilucidar en qué medida estas traducciones son efectivas y útiles a personas desplazadas o migrantes para realizar los trámites oportunos en materia de extranjería, migración, refugio o asilo.

This paper will study the textual genres present in the documentation that any migrant or displaced person has to use in the immigration services, whether to resolve situations of temporary or permanent residence, or to apply for refugee or asylum status. In the first part of the paper,we will analyse the textual genre in its original language; in the second part we will determine the information available in Arabic in administrative and legal documents in French-and German-speaking countriesto determine to what extent these translations are effective and useful for displaced persons or migrants to carry out the appropriate procedures in matters of foreigners, migration, refuge,or asylum.
