Innovaciones y reformas curriculares en la educación postobligatoria de Inglaterra. La diversificación en la Formación Profesional inicial

Abstract

En septiembre de 2000 se puso en marcha en Inglaterra una gran reforma de los Niveles Avanzados, el “curriculum 2000”. A raíz de esta reforma se introdujeron profundas modificaciones en la configuración educativa de la enseñanza reglada postobligatoria y que, ineludiblemente, afectaron a la Formación Profesional inicial. Estos cambios implicaron a todos los centros educativos, escuelas y colegios, que ofrecen Educación Complementaria. En este artículo nos hemos centrado en uno de los puntos calientes de la reforma, la diversificación y ampliación del currículum. Lo planteamos desde la Formación Profesional inicial y añadimos datos e información recogida en algunas investigaciones sobre la implementación de la reforma.

In September of 2000 a great reform of the Advanced Levels started up in England, "Currículum 2000". As a result of this reform deep modífications got in the educational configuration of the ruled post-compulsory education and thal, unavoidably, concerned the initial Vocational Training. These changes concerned all the educative centers, schools and colleges, that offer Further Education. In this article we have centred on one of the hot points of the reform, the diversífication and amplification of the currículum. We raise it from the initial Vocational Training and added to data and information collected in some investigations on the implementation of the reform
